I saw that, looks to me more like a typical reporter's screwed up take on things.

Notice how it also said the CEO resigned because "Later, the company's prospects dimmed. Its president resigned
on June 16."

Made it sound like he might actually be a real corporate citizen rather than a con artist.

I still find the Ar-Con wording amazing.

I saw that one too. The only thing that doesn't make sense about it is that I don't remember anyone ever saying that Midland had a contract with Exxon, just that Exxon had requested samples for testing.

There is a big difference, imo.

Maybe I am wrong, and maybe someone did say that there was a contract. But if they did, I don't remember hearing it. Good thing too...I probably would have lost even more money if I had heard that one.
