Lee -
Microsoft's consulting organization (MCS) is a relatively small group in comparison to the others you mention (less than 2000 worldwide). They act primarily as liaison between vendor consulting teams, customers, and the MSFT engineering groups on large projects. Their role is more of 'single point of contact' although they have acted as general contractor on some occasions also. They do not have the in depth technical savvy to do large jobs on their own.

<interest rate> What will the FED do?

Lee: Have you any opinion?

Q3 GDP=3.3% (totaled $7.6 trillion dollars adjusted for inflation)
Inflation=1. something lowest in 30 or 40 years
Eployment=4.6% historical low
Personal spending for Q3=Up 3.9%

Industrial production=showed the weakest performance.
Trade imbalance=still negative
Japan still showing recessionary trends.
S.E Asia still not out of the woods.
LatAm may still catch the contagion.

So what will the FED do? Will they go slow on easing? Or will they
cut to make sure the economy doesn't falter?

Any opinions? I see economists are as usual at loggerheads with diverse opinion on the matter.As for me I am clueless.
