Thanks for the analysis. I have been thinking about selling covered calls. Never done it before. It seems, based upon your analysis, that it would make sense to sell them on release of earnings and have them expire within 30 days - if such a thing is possible. It would appear that, under "normal" conditions that they would expire worthless.

I guess another strategy would be to sell, then buy back after earnings. I'm not sure what the smartest thing to do is. -Keith-
