Why are you buying today?

I can't remember, but weren't you thinking about late December? I'm interested in the reasoning behind any change of mind.

And why today? Bullish on the market? I can see next weeks User Conference as a short buy signal, for trading at least, but intermediate term I wonder if PSFT isn't going to trade with the market, at best, until next earnings, unless some news comes out. And the market, and especially PSFT, despite the Fed, might go lower with end of year tax-loss selling. And what if next earnings aren't considered positive? Just some thoughts. I'm immensely unsure, myself.

(This for Robin.) Like you and Chuzzlewit I bought down at 18x and sold higher. Lucky calls, good for us. However, though I agree that PSFT used to mirror the NAZ beautifully, at least intra-day, since the drop it has been off in its own sick little world. IMO, as Melissa pointed out, it hasn't established a new pattern yet, and I myself am not comfortable trading it until it does.

Luck to us all.

Tom
