Yes the low stock price is due to the market makers having control of the stock. YOu noticed that 200,000 shares traded mostly on the up side moved the stock a dime upward, then only 15,000 shares traded on the down side move the price back down. I was told, that you can order your stock out of your account, actually take possession of the stock certificates which will give less shares for the market makes to short.
