Adaptec hasn't had a new hardware product announcement since June but will have four booths at the Fall '98 COMDEX (16-20 Nov). According to the schedule, Adaptec will be demonstrating: -- its "new" Wide Ultra2 SCSIcard for desktop systems (the AHA-2930U2W): new to me; -- "new" RAID cards for small-business/departmental servers (the AAA-130SA series): noted on the web site but not announced as far as I can determine; -- and "new" 64-bit PCI Fast Ethernet NICs. Nothing of breakthrough significance but it's possible newer stuff will be announced at COMDEX. planner.comdex.com Starowl
