Rommy,

As a long-time SEEKer, I tend to agree with you on this recent quarter. SEEK is not the trash that some people claim, but it just can't seem to reach that top-tier status. Long-term that could change, but short-term, it can be painful to watch at times.

In addition to the SSB downgrade, CIBC Oppenheimer downgraded SEEK from Buy to Hold today. Actually, I was surprised that there weren't more downgrades (which means that there could be more lurking in the days ahead).

Good luck SEEKers. Looks like we got our trick a little early today :-(.

DO you think there is any truth to the rumor that the CEO wanted earning to miss the street to reduce the price so we would all vote for the disney deal. Couldnt they have played games to hide to expected cost of the merger and report say a 5 cent loss? Or could it be to get a lower price for Disney when they actually make their purchase come November or whenever it is ?
