I disagree gc, analytic applications are widely considered to be a definite high growth area for the ERP industry. I also believe forays into internet commerce possibly announced at the convention are the future of ERP (post client-server). Peoplesoft's development of internal applications to meet some these needs along with its historical ability to execute, lead me to believe that mgt is prepared to meet the demand for these new high growth areas. These products are revolutionary and could substantially improve a bottom line. And THAT is the one surefire thing that moves stock prices.

gc, You have no way of knowing the User Conference is a non event until it occurs. No one does. And I doubt you've ever been to a User Conference in your life. (of any vendor, not just PSFT which I'm certain you've never attended). If you knew anything about this business or this company it would be one thing for you to make comments like this. But you don't. So you would do us all a service by simply offering your normal non supported commentary on the stock price.....if you have to post here at all.

I reallly can't understand why you waste your time here anyway. You don't own stock, aren't short, don't know the industry, etc. Maybe you own stock in a competitor and view doing this as a way to profit elsewhere. I really don't get it. My only conclusion is that you must have too much time on your hands and post here to fill some other void in your life.

You mentioned all these other better places one could put their money. Why don't you go post on those threads?
