CDMQ - Thanks for that eloquent article regarding the FTC suit against Intel.

The other - and more important - side to this suit is that NO COMPETITORS are involved.

The three companies in dispute with Intel were INTEL CUSTOMERS.

Best to all,"

Sheehs! Do I detect a pattern here? Am I wrong in surmising that when the economy or market conditions are scary and worrisome that the word or brief or understanding among investors is 'Intel will do better when these conditions go away'. And then the minute the conditions go away the word or brief or understanding among investors becomes 'Intel is a monopoly and FTC will pair them down' or 'Intel's competition is gaining and they are no longer the dominant force in the chip industry' etc add infinitum!

Am I astray in thinking there is seemingly a conspiracy to keep this stock from rising? And if so why? God is there no fairness anymore even in logic?

Great article. Ann Rand Institute. Atlas Shrugged. Wow!

Clintonesque: All for one (government is big mama) and none for all (no one has to be at work or competitive or earn money to survive).

Microsoft

Microsoft's very existence is largely based on stealing other companies ideas. i.e. Apple, Netscape, Sun, IBM, etc. It is remarkable to hear them whining about antitrust activity against them.
