Reading all the current postings sure reflects the deterioration
of what, we all thought, was a grand investment scheme. Remember the 60-80%
gross margins BOB encouraged us to project? Then his "comment" that
clients weren't sending properly prepared code and he had to go out and help
them prepare their submissions
Remember the projections of $1.25-$2.50 per LOC we were all estimating?
Remember the 1999 earnings projection of $4.50-$4.75 at the beginning of the year?
Remember BOB's need to look overseas for quick, expensive equity? And the list
goes on and on!
Let's face it, the market wouldn't pay the rates we wanted. Competition
for the available business resulted in sharply depressing margins which, it appears,
no one was willing to accept as applying to darling, ALYD.
I could go on but I'm a two-fingered typist and I'm tired. So I'll end
just saying we "intelligent investors" refused to face the dissolution of the
businee picture we had painted. BG was a master in holding most of us transfixed
to a scenario that was made of clouds of hot air!
I now see ALYD earnings of $.50-$.55 for 98 and $1.00-$1.25 for 99. Any
other prognostigations out there?

BOB O

There is some discussion on Yahoo about the possibility that CPWR is buying stock right now....

Even critics must admit that there is some major accumulation going on here.....
