"DONT sell this stock , be patient" Query..does it disturb you that dudchick on Oct 13(yahoo post 1513) states 1) we have to wait until OCT 15th to hear some supposedly positive news ...2)A lso he says he doesnt know if BOB bought stock(you would think they talk to each other) IMO,w/o credibility this stock going nowhere. Hell if they finally announce the moonshot, the street wont believe them............maybe the street will think there cooking the books or Bob lost his court case. All i know is that this is no way to run a business...maybe its how you ruin a business. It is also a vote of no confidence that Bob sold at 18, but chose not to buy at 7 even tho he said he would on Aug 17 when price about 91/2

I've heard of the same information and that number is $5mil yes $5mil that would've given us another .28 cents to the bottom line totaling .38 cents for this quarter. If that number was shown on friday were would the stock be today?.

This news must be getting out because we saw pretty good support on Friday. 38 cents would have been much more than most people were looking for and would have created an upside surprise for shareholders.

IMO the company offered very conservative Y2K numbers for 1999 in an effort to manage expectations better. Shareholders will have real quarterly estimates once analysts initiate coverage on the company.

I'm very impressed with the rapid increase in Y2K contracts. 9 new contracts in October tells me that opportunities are still out there. With 47 active contracts ALYD is getting a healthy share of Y2K business.

Dear MACA,

I recall from the CC that a woman asked the question about the balance of Unbilled Receivables on the B/S at 9/30/98. Gruder gave a fumbling response to the effect that he didn't know, or the numbers were not available. If this is true, what you are saying, then there exists the possibility that some of this could be bled into the 4th qtr numbers. One question I have, to what extent is the code remediation complete, and how does the completeness relate to the balance in te UBAR account.
Also, how much of the unbilled is actually billed. Is it 100%, or some number less. If the contracts that relate to the UBAR account are fixed price, then there could be some overrun potential, which means that not all of the UBAR will tranlate in actual good A/R, and eventual cash.

Please comment.

This is the type of thoughtful analysis that we need here.
