Thanks for the welcome. I can't stay too long as I have to go wrap myself in the flag and go to church and pray for Ken Starr.

I think Dwight's problems are a lot worse than thin skin. Unreasonable people are dangerous. It is funny in a way that they simply can't see reason or understand logical consequences. But it stops being funny when you see all it can lead to and how vicious and destructive the RR can be.

Did you see how quickly and easily he resorted to a false accusation himself, that I was stalking and harassing him, when what he was writing about was Clinton's lying. I actually was writing about the Republicans' unfair tactics. I guess when you are one of God's anointed soldiers, lies are justified. When you are out to get rid of Bill Clinton, any tactic at all is justified... let the bleeding heart liberals complain.... we'll get rid of them next.
Some patriot.

First off, nobody threatened Marty. As a parting retorical line, I repeated the conclusion of an article (posted at least three times on these Clinton threads) by journalist Ambrose Evans-Prichard, who wrote retorically about Clinton from the senior Democrat Lieberman's perspective, after that respected Congressman went to the floor to excorciate Clinton: "Begone from here, you cad, before we have you tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail". In other words, that was what Ambrose Evans-Prichard felt that Lieberman was saying to Clinton, except in more polite terms.

And Marty supposes that was a threat to him! Marty, your ego precedes you.

As for me challenging Stockman to a fistfight: Not true. Go ahead, show me where I did that. I did challenge him to a duel, but it was to be with weapons of his choice. Needless to say, he backed down, but he still got a suspension from SI for his repeated "get lost, idiot" posts to both Who Me? and I.

Re <<God bless America>> Talk about self righteous!

It doesn't surprise me, Pezz, that you would scorn the idea that God has blessed America. You probably say the Bart Simpson table grace: "Dear God: We bought all this food with our own money, so thanks for nothing."

actually folks, I think Mr. StockMan's witty "get lost, idiot", has got him banned completely from SI: Here is his very last charming post, (on this thread) and none since:

Re -- The Clintons were caught and the matter settled before the Whitewater investigation was started.

It doesn't matter. An investigation into it would have been done by the Extremist Republicans in the Senate!!

Sheesh!! such fools.

Pezz: Was it you who wished to know whether or not repeated "get lost, idiot"s would get a person suspended or banned? I would say the answer is yes, you can be permanently banned for such behavior.

Runs whining to the webmistress every time somebody gets the better of him.

I'd say that since Stockman has been absent SI since Oct. 10th, and was a prolific insulter prior to that, then it can be fairly guessed that Stockman has earned himself the permanent boot from SI.

I guess I could say that Stockman did not get the better of me.
