Elmer, Off Topic

I still don't understand what "foil" means in the way in which you are using it. Any further clarification would be appreciated?

Would you consider Merced a foil as well?

Bob

EP-the-great-"analyst" <This would lead one to conclude that if silicon exists, it is too unstable to risk a demo, however they'd be proud to show you the "foils".>
Only a great analytical mind like yours can
come to such a deepest conclusion.
Only !d!ot would risk disclosing secrets of
a strategic CPU if there is no
working and stable silicon, just to be "proud of".
If you have such stupid habits, do not assume
that others are the same buffoons.
AMD in 1998 is not a Intel of 80's with it's
vaporware of "preliminary data sheets" and
cooked systems benchmarks
(see ISBN 0-525-94141-X, p.195).
