Dwight, forget honesty, integrity, courage, fair treatment and valor. The new character trait most sought by the liberal media and Democrats is "spinmeistering". Definition....The act of obfuscating the truth so that any policies or behaviors are viewed as just and right. I wonder if the Oxford dictionary will pick up on this one. :-) Michael

An extreme example: WSJ: In Colorado, Henry Strauss, a Democratic candidate for Congress, has unleashed a vicious TV ad linking Republican opponent Tom Tancredo to "a militia linked to white supremacists and the racist Aryan Nation." The ad features a still photo of Mr. Tancredo in a parade with his hand in an upraised salute. The Rocky Mountain News called the ad "a smear" and noted that Mr. Tancredo had given an unremarkable speech to an apparent militia group in 1994. It editorialized that if Mr. Strauss really believed his ad "then he is one of the silliest men in America. And if he doesn't believe it, he is one of the most cynical."

Dwight, to repeat, you don't know the first thing about personal insults. You and Vaughn, going off whining to the site admin. I have to admit, I have had rational exchanges in the past with you, amid the "Clinton is Caligula" clutter. Not with Vaughn, though. Something has to be done in those instances, D&E is better that a C-section in terms of the mother's health and recovery. Better prenatal care could probably reduce fetal death after 24 weeks much more than a "PBA" ban, the total number of abortions after 24 weeks in 1992 was 1170. Somehow, better prenatal care doesn't seem to be much of a priority for the "right to life" crowd, at least compared to the PBA issue of the day. Apologies to all for engaging in "fear-mongering" on this issue. I'm sorry for polluting the thought of those who are certain of their position on the "heinous evil that is abortion". Moderate though they may be.
