A reverse would be an absolute disaster, look what happened to HHII after a reverse (7-1). Lets hope a reverse is not in the cards here. Jim, smart money does load up on cheap, undervalued stock after November first, and selling pressure from end of year tax loss will likely affect this stock. I would be surprised to see any substantial increase in price before the new year, and/or until all the 'right' people have sufficient holdings for a run.

Hugh

Asarco cutting U.S. capital spending in 1999

NEW YORK, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Asarco Inc expects to cut U.S. capital spending in 1999,
Chief Executive Officer Richard Osborne said Friday.

He told reporters spending is expected to be ''well under $100 million in the U.S. for Asarco,'' compared to $115 millon this
year.

Osborne said spending by 54.3 percent owned Southern Peru Copper Corp will rise to about $300 million next year, from
$265 million in 1998, as it continues previously announced expansion projects.

He also said Asarco exploration spending will be down, with no spending planned in the U.S. Asarco's 1999 exploration
spending will be focused on a previously announced gold project in French Guiana and potential copper reserves in Chile.
