Thanks all. But it is another lesson learned on the internet. Expensive, yes. But who knows. Maybe a blessing, maybe not. If nothing else, I have learned to take my time and read everything carefully before pushing that "send" button.

My broker also defaults: to BUY. I've told them to STOP IT! It's not just the standard default. What is the problem is if there's a glithch, like type in your password with the caps-lock key pressed, and they'll RESET the transaction to "BUY". I got burned real bad. May take them to arbitration, now that I think of it. I made a nice clear recommendation to eliminate the default. But so far they've turned a deaf-ear. I'll find a new broker. Looking right now.
