MrK and brees, the problem with your argument is that you provide no means for determining who is a good mom. To be honest, I knew when I wrote that post that you all would respond this way but I decided to let you bring it up first. OK, any woman can get pregnant but only some are good moms. Agreed. Lets say we have a female astronaut, who by definition at this point in time would need to be fairly exceptional based on the selection criteria for such. This female astronaut is not home for months at a time while preparing for and engaging in space travel. (this is not a mythic person, Im thinking of Sally ? who lives out here). Anyway this person vs. a stay at home mom who has no career whatsoever. Who is the better mom here just a guess? Oh and just for arguments sake lets say the children involved are female.
