When you bisect, you're bisecting the price and the time. The pitchfork measures time as well as price. Time is equally as important as price.

Just take a ruler and lay the straight edge over the July high and October low. Take a pencil and make a point in the middle, so you're not only dividing the price at the midpoint, but also the time at the midpoint. For example, if it took 46 days (just for the sake of example) to move 1000 points from high to low, then the midpoint is drawn on the 23rd day at the midpoint of the price move (500 points). This way, you've bisected price and time in one measurement.

Then, take the straight edge and place it on the June low and that midpoint in price and time. Then, extend that line forward in time. Let me know if you get this much.
