Valid point, but I still contend that this is where the market takes care of us. Imagine a $16billion industry in the US that had no regulation (this is my ballpark for residential sewage). I imagine some pretty bright people would come up with great ideas to lower cost and capture market share

Cable is regulated. I think Gore authored the bill around '91. Thanks for making my point for me.

The reason they are better, is that if they weren't, they wouldn't be in business. Public schools aren't even close to this type of situation.
