"My source says...they won't start production until they have a firm purchase order.....did not mention mechanical problems....eom"

OK. Wal-Mart co-sponsors Team Cheever touting the "Great Value" Brand but "do not" have a firm purchase order. Hmmm.

"any truth to rumor that tcbg can't fill walmarts order because the volpaks are having trouble they arent working right, heard someone from volpak is in route to canada to save tcbg before they lose the entire walmart account, no release of first shipments by end of week i will know my info is correct."

Are rumors fact? What are the facts? The facts are that no deliveries are known to have taken place to date. Does this mean that TCBG is encountering production problems? The rumor being touted suggests this. Infact, the rumor being touted qualifies that production problems are infact taking place "no release of first shipments by end of week i will know my info is correct".

It is a fair statement IMO to indicate that TCBG has experienced production problems in the past. These problems, according to a series of SI Posts, indicated leakage with respect to the built in straw system. Problems with the Volpak machines? On what basis???

TCBG has used Volpak machines before. Prior to the Kraft settlement, TCBG ran production on Volpak 240DF horizontal FFS machines. More recently, TCBG was able to run production on the Volpak machines in regards to BrainForest where the built in straw system apparently experienced some leakage problems (ie: posters on SI actually obtained and held in hand these packages - see Posts 1200 to 1275 range).

I'm not aware of any rumors regarding TCBG in regards to purchase orders and or problems with Volpak machines. This does not mean to suggest that there are no rumors and or that there is no truth to the substance of any of the rumors floating around. Rumors are as good as the source. Sources have been undisclosed. In regards to rumors, however, the best source for clarification is the Company. As such:

ps the ones i feel sorry for are the ones who buy tcbg over a dollar after news comes out and they get dumped on and tcbg tanks back under a dollar.
