<both from the zero coordinate of the x-y grid ......>

When you think about it, all this is about a 2 dimensional problem which can be laid out on an (x,y) grid.

Zero on the Grid is (169, 1087) ...the 1087 being the SPX value at Julian day 169.

The high (x,y) is (201,1191)...the start of the Upper Tine.

The low (x,y) is (282, 953)...the start of the Lower Tine.

Of all people, I thought you at least would follow this as a basic algebra problem.

Eh, 9 years of Undergrad Engineering School, shot to hell.

EDIT So the Midpoint should then be (291, 1072)
