It makes sense to me when it's couched that way, because all it's doing is bisecting the hypotenuse of a right triangle with time as the x-coordinate and (0,0) as the Origin of the point of the section. So naturally, Time and Price are halved.

Hey. This feels kinda good. You know how many of Vance's post on PhotoMasks and other computer stuff I've read?

I wonder how many of those computer jockeys don't recall basic Algebra and Geometry.

EDIT You know something else? Using Julian dates you don't even need a picture or a ruler. You can "draw" the Tines using equations and not ever see a picture.
