This is an interesting post from the Yahoo board. I too received an e-mail today from Wendy Carhart at GMGC Investor Relations which dislcosed GMGC's plans to provide meaningful information on each of the five factors listed in this link. I have also reposted it here, below: post.messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Here is a reprint of the post:

We all know that GMGC will not be divulging any subscriber figures at the moment. Fact is is that such figures are really meaningless at this point in time, given GMGC's business model. You must keep in mind that GMGC's business model is wholesaling Portico and the magicTalk technology to major telecos. That's it. Simple. The current resellers of Portico really amount to nothing more other than field testing and an excellent means for fine-tuning Portico and magicTalk (and collecting data). The current Portico subscribers recruited by the resellers are really meaningless - regardless of whether the figures are 3,000 or 12,000 subscribers. With a burn rate of anywhere from 8 to 10 million per month, Portico and magicTalk can't and won't survive, long term, without the telecos come on board. GMGC's entire plan is to have the major telecos committ and begin offering Portico. (Actually, GMGC will craft or personalize magicTalk or Portico, with various and different features, for each carrier.)

Thus and again, the subscriber numbers at this point serve as no meaningful guage of how GMGC or magicTalk are doing. GMGC has yet to even begin performing since no telecos, at the moment, have announced. The business model I've described and which was described in more detail during the Vegas show is very close, in my opinion, to coming to fuition. Instead of announcing or disclosing Portico subscriber numbers, the company will provide the following information to serve as a guage:

(1) Reliability of the Portico service;
(2) GMGC's partnerships and alliances;
(3) Marketing programs;
(4) Portico usage patterns; and
(5) GMGC's execution of the business plan.

I didn't make up these five (5) factors or indicators; they came from GMGC IR's today. So, in my opinion, and given that GMGC itself revealed item number (2) above, there will be an announcement on Nov. 11th regarding telecos or other major resellers such as the likes of RadioShack, Circuit City, CompUSA, etc.

Getting ready to rumble!!!! Go GMGC!!!!

I agree it's a great article, but I haven't a clue how old it is.   It was probably written for Seybold's Outlook newsletter, but their site, outlook.com , doesn't have a search engine.

While it might be hard to date, it isn't very hard to find, and it appears that as a "white paper," it has been generally available to resellers, carriers, etcetera.

You can find an additional copy here...

And, most conveniently, here, at GMGC's own site...
