Headline: Glenayre (NASDAQ:GEMS) awarded $1 mln paging contract ====================================================================== CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov 3 (Reuters) - Paging network maker Glenayre Technologies Inc. on Tuesday said it has received a $1 million order to expand a high speed paging network in China's Hainan province. Glenayre will provide infrastructure equipment and technical support to Hing Tat Investments Ltd., a distributor of Glenayre equipment in China, the company said in a statement. The order includes expansion of subscriber and voice mailbox capacity for installed GL3000 wireless messaging switches. Glenayre is also providing its 280MHz GL-T8000 series transmitters and GL-C2000 controllers.
