I guess you have forgotten the past, go through what you have been led to believe in 96 -97 -98. Seems you are repeating the past in believing their PR for 99.

As for the Law Suit: SMU itself is saying that the suits are unrelated.

In February 1998, Simula sued Autoliv in the United States District Court of Arizona in a case arising out of different facts. In that unrelated lawsuit, Simula alleged certain anti-competitive
acts and practices by Autoliv. That litigation is pending.

For someone that has never owned SMU, buying some at 5 -6 could be a great "speculation". Price *reflects* professional opinion of facts as they are known. I would not use *follow*. It does take a series of disappointments to move a share value from 24 to 5. Price level does not change these disappointments.
