Ibexx, This is all well and good, but tell me, why can't SAP take off. I made the commitment to stay with SAP - holding a fairly large position - but even I get frustrated that in this market where folks are making lot of money, SAP isn't delivering what it should. It certainly isn't SAP's fault, but what's wrong? The 3rd quarter results were excellent - we know SAP is the leader in the industry, the management is excellent, people are overhyping the YR 2000 issue BUT,-- why won't institutional investors come on board. I also own Janus Fund - and the guy who is making the best returns - Janus Twenty - has SAP in his portfolio (in addition to Dell and MFST and others). He hasn't sold and has kept his position for the last 6 months. By the way, he has maintained a 20% return during all of this craziness of the last three months. Why won't the other institutional investors come in, and thereby, raise the stock price? What do you think is the show-stopper? When do you think SAP will get its deserved recognition - this year, next? Ever? I've come to enjoy your postings - probably because you remain high on SAP and I still have a lot of SAP stock. I've got two positions - one where even now, I am ok and almost ahead of the game. BUT, I also swallowed the "NYSE listing" hype, and have a bunch of SAP at 60. Can't sell it - even with the missed opportunities I see in today's market - but oh how I wish to be RIGHT long -term on this one and sail to great heights and unbelievable profits if this stock comes in. I know you don't know the answer, but for some reason, I just like to hear your enthusiasm and conviction that we SAPers are right and one day will reap the rewards of our steadfastness and clairvoyance. (Just kidding!). Best regards, regrey
