To the tread: The following is a post from the Yahoo thread. We can only hope it is true! What do you think N.O.?

Chief Operating Officer - Jim Saunders by s3viking

Jim Saunders, the new COO of Simula is now in San Diego taking care of the problems at Airline Interiors. Saunders is the old style management, he kicks ass and takes names (reminds me of a Marine Corp drill instructor). I was told he hardly smiled his first week at Airline Interiors. He is very upset at the way the facility has been running.

Saunders is credited for turning the ITS division around. Contrary to what Nobelesse has stated, ITS was bleeding money up to early this summer. ITS is now profitable and has a solid future.Saunders is not aquick-turn artist, he tends to be more of a conservative individual, so don't look for any hyper-growth out of ITS and Airline Interiors. This is his trademark- sales, not at the expense of margins.

Look for Saunders to cancel some contracts and options at the airline division, and hopefully concentrate on the potential 25,50,and 100 plane potential orders. Saunders will also oversee the ITS Division.

At Airline Interiors, Saunders has cut overtime off, frozen wages, cut workers, and is currently revamping each department. This will help lead to profitability. The British Airways 777 program has been given an extension and it looks like the shipset of seats will be ready in another week.

Airline Interiors still has a good shot at the British Airways 100 plane A320 order. Lets hope for the best.....
