Wayne: Your advice is working against my basic instincts to be a very impatient person. Sold the COMS I bought yesterday at 35 7/16 and will see where it opens tomorrow. watching VIAS. I own this and it went up 3/4 this morning to it;s 6 1/2 resistance pt. I am waiting to see if it breaks through before buying more and it is killing me. I tried to put in a buy stop but the order was refused?

Wayne, good post. I'm trying to think about setting those
sell/buy stops. Just need some time to let it sink in.

I would like to sell the shares, and wait for the downturn,
which I can predict with about 60-70% probability. But, I
need to set the stop buy at a price slightly higher, in
case there is not a selloff, the stock fakes me out,
and it starts to go upward. (This just happened about
a 1/2 hour ago, but a little bit after the fake out, it
dove like like a lead ball).

Wayne, if you're waiting for a stock to pause on low volume,
then it wouldn't likely be on the top 10 list of highest
activity, would it<g>? I guess you might be taking about
stocks that *usually* trade in the top 10 volume list?
