yeah, there's a sucker born every minute

Anybody care to explain how a company with one single product can stay in business long when that one single product is defective?

Hi, All. I tried Ameritrade some time ago, and found their service inadequate. I'm wondering if it has improved and whether it's good enough to try again. I hear they have a special deal for frequent traders. Can anyone who doesn't work for Ameritrade and who has used them recently give me any info about reliability, accuracy, promptness of fills and reports, whether the fills are often very good or not (better than you asked, or in the middle of the spread), whether the site is fast and accurate and available? Feel free to send me email or private mail if you aren't comfortable discussing all this on the public board. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to decide between Investrade and Ameritrade's 800 deal, as an alternative to Brown & Co. So any first hand and current info about each would be appreciated.

Linda
