Does anyone from Ameritrade lurk around here?
I placed two market orders about 9:40 am(EST). As I repeatedly "refreshed order status" for a few minutes, there was not any "fill" report. I called customer service at 9:45. I reveiwed this situation with Marilyn. She acknowledged my orders had been placed but that the problem was with the marketmaker not sending back the prices. She added that Ameritrade personnel were on the phone trying to obtain the data. I remarked about the advertisement which guarantees "60-second order executions." Her reply was that my orders were placed but she could not satisfy my complaint that there is nothing on their site which confirms that the orders have been entered and are waiting for the market maker to respond.
I continued to "refresh order status." By their time stamp (in CST), I received notificatioin of fills at 10:19 and 10:20(EST).
