That's right.

And your favorites are all BELOW where they were in the summer of 1997 - WAY BELOW !

<Your investment in that loser company AMD is now up 60% in less than 4 weeks. That other loser CPU company NSM is up almost 100%. The loser mass storage company IOM is up almost 200%

The winner company INTC has managed to gain a whopping 20% during the same time period, and is now almost as high as it was in the summer of 1997.>

Remember that AMD went from 15 to 45 in anticipation of the K6 before dropping back down into the teens. That means that AMD went up 150% in six months, then lost 66% after that. I guess with your logic, this translates into a net gain of 84%! (150% - 66% = 84%)

Mark Twain once said that there are three levels of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics. I'll leave it up to you to figure out what Mark meant.

AMD is down almost 50% from its 1997 summer high.

NSM is down about 66% from its 1997 late summer high.

IOM is down about 50% from its 1997 summer high.

And these numbers are after significant recent rallies.
