If Neuprex works as it is claimed and that is a big IF, would it shorten hospital stay or not? What other ways could it save money if it works? If it works would that mean shorter period of time on IV Vancomycin or Gentamicin? Would that save money? Too simplistic in my book to just ask cost. Remember although Cacaito may disagree with me, in my opinion conventional antibiotics are NOT doing such a bang up job of killing gram neg. bugs. How much Penicillin and how long did it take it to cure some infections in the 1940's? Now if only there was a way to turn back the hands of time on antibiotic's speed and effectiveness. If only there was a product that helped antibiotics do their job!

Bob, for the sake of argument, who says insurance plans would have to pay for Neuprex usage in order for it to be a huge revenue bonanza? Now IF it really worked in dire emergency conditions and it was you or loved one in that circumstance, would you be willing to pay out of pocket? Are you saying only a few rich people would be willing to pay cost of Neuprex IF it works as being claimed by some researchers? What if you absolutely couldn't afford it? Would some churches, charities and other organizations be able to help? I can just see you now Bob with a gram neg. bacterial infection requiring IV antibiotics and you say "I don't won't to pay extra for that Neuprex."LOL All of this is moot though unless Neuprex actually works and is approved.
