Excuse me, isn't it that the North-South divide is not so much along geographical lines as along urban-rural lines? That would make both San Francisco and LA as parts of the "south" and the Central Valley and towns like, say, Bakersfield, would be considered "north".

Dipy.

Interesting. I had no idea there were that many Asians in N. California. I knew there were a lot in Silly Valley, but....

Expatriate Asian cultural, educational, and work values seem to me like they make a real contribution to this country, generally speaking.

I mean, consider the ethnic restaurant contributions, to begin with. <ggg> Kidding, kidding.

If there was ever a religion that shouldn't offend other religions, it's got to be Buddhism. Seems to me. Of course some people are determined to be offended by anything different. Generally, it seems an adventure to me.

<<Since "christian values" and the H1-B visa position are diametrically opposed. >>

Now I'm confused. Christian values according to the main document are about treating one another with compassion.

How is that in opposition to Asians coming to America on H1-B visas. Even if you are talking about a Christian political agenda (not a value) to dominate the world, that includes cultural blending from what I've always seen.

Whether you're for or agin the HB-1 visa for Indian programmers depends on whether you're a Christian project manager or a Christian programmer.
