Only the idea is in place. A ton of money needs to be invested to put the necessary infrastructure in place to make this idea work. As usual the issue becomes one of money, (always follow the money). The chip manufacturers have been bleeding serious losses the past couple years and are not too anxious to buy into a new and expensive technology at this time. I think that being bullied by INTC into this technology is also hindering progress. A second point is that you are emphasizing RMBS as a software solution. That is clearly not the case. Their solution requires too much investment in expensive capital equipment for their solution to be considered a software solution. When I buy software I don't buy a new computer to make it work.
