I think the whole point of using Office for Mac as a club against Apple is more subtle-- it does not demonstrate that Microsoft has a monopoly on Mac products, or on anything else for that matter.

It simply is evidence that Microsoft wanted other companies to hurt Netscape. Basically it corroborates the charge that Microsoft was out to "get" Netscape. It's the equivalent of testimony that Joe said "Gosh, I really hate Jim," during Joe's trial for Jimmy's murder.

This is separate from the other Apple accusation about Microsoft's fiddling with the registry to undermine Quicktime.
