$ 2.6 billion at 1.5% equals $ 39 mill Rambus royalty
$ 13.5 billion at 1.25% equals $ 168,750 mill Rambus royalty
(the 2000 number is slightly lower than what I have in my spreadsheet posted at mckenziewebster.com - but then there's royalty beyond just DRAM's!)

DRAM Prices / RMBS Royalties

The prices you are quoting (for SDRAM) are surely the prices you and I pay at circuit city and the like for onesies and twosies. Surely the royalty RMBS claims is at the 100K++ prices at which the chips are sold for fresh out the factory.
These prices I can assure you look completely different...
