Family lawsuit over - Res Q TV advertisements Were quite a few SGD advts last week on "The Wheel" and during the weekend prime time movies for SGD's new "Res Q" retinal product . SGD is back selling their quality products in "prime time" and wisely settled a very distracting family lawsuit for $225,000: " On January 21, 1999, the Company entered into a settlement agreement with the plaintiffs in the Brooks case. The settlement results in a dismissal of the appeal of that case and a release regarding the Company and the other defendants in the case. In the settlement, the defendants paid $225,000 to the plaintiffs. The Company continues to believe that the claims of the plaintiffs in the Brooks case were groundless.
