Sean, since you're obviously skilled at writing code, I don't think you realize how complex the QP2 scan function is for the lay person. I never had any trouble writing Metastock formulas or QP1 scans, and TC2000 also appears pretty simple, but QP2 requires some knowledge of programming. There is no interface to enable non-programmers to write scans. For some reason, when Gary decided to replace QP1 with QP2, he decided to exclude those of us who prefer ease of use to complete and total versatility.

Gary knows my feelings from the QP board. Do you think he's going to maintain a QP1 datafeed just for me? If he ever puts a QP1 scan function into QP2, I'll be there in a minute.

If my logic makes no sense to you, maybe it's because QP2 was written for you, and not for me.

I'm trying to find the best software for my needs. It was QP1. I don't think it's QP2. Maybe it's TC2000. That's why I'm asking these questions. Instead of ridiculing me for daring to evaluate TC2000, maybe you could just help me out.
