Hi Gary, Is there anyway to scan for the date of the last quarter reported and if not would it be a big job to make that happen?

For example, I was running a scan for the stocks that had increased revenues and eps compared to previous quarters but realized that I may be looking at results on companies who have not released yet.

Revenues
Quarter 1,000,000's

09/1998 6,731
06/1998 5,927

Hope this question makes sense? :-)

Thanks
Monty

Gary, please see
Message 6296382

The only thing that I can add is that when I tried to do my weekly backup of that drive to another hard drive, it froze at the first .dat file in that index directory.

Will be out of town for a week, so please do not think me non-thankful if I don't respond to your answer (if you have one).
Thanks, Deb

Gary -

I am writing a scanning/charting/backtesting application, and I would like to be able to read QP data files directly. Is there any way to get the binary file formatting specs for QP files?

Thanks

Charting Feature Request

Hi, Gary

I am enjoying Quotes Plus, but there is one charting feature that would help make Quotes Plus a more useful charting front end, at least for me. As near as I can tell, right now you can set the number of periods to be plotted, and daily or weekly, but the data is always plotted up to the latest market results. It would be helpful if it was possible to plot a date *range*, for example 200 daily periods *up to* Jan. 5, 1995...

Of course, if I am just missing this feature, someone please let me know.

Thanks for all the good work,

Boom Dog
