All, I just talked to Mike McKay and he is very modest and bullish on Global and the new role ( I told him I called Bob W this AM and said, gee I wish it was MORE of a flamboyant news release) He, hit the nail on the head and didn't want any up & down only steady progressive news releases and he was glad that this news release would NOT be critizedas "HYPY". I missed that point completely, utterly and he did NOT. He is good at balance, and he will have my full support.
( as if that matters, to some shorters I hear about.)
I told him about the new AA machine that will do not only gold and silver at anothe DD ( Maxam ) but PGMs when they GET GOING! We are more confident. He is in great spirits and hadmore to say about his personal schedule which he ask me not to post.( Golly, I hope he didn't mean not to allude to his traveling back and forth! ) I should of told him that I traveled so much to Phoenix in the last year ...ha-ha...seriously now- THAT today Amercian West Airlines announced the FIRST DIRECT flight from my Hub Origination to Phoenix! Maybe they will do the same from his! I never really liked the Monorail at Newark comparred to the one at Disney World! I am going to Disney World! Measure twice and cut once! Jensen doesn't like the overhype and so does the new manager NOT like to overhype! Strange that we get...along!
Chucahype-TOO ...( much, I know!)

Whatever you say, Ed! But FTR I'm often puzzled by your double-edged posts. You harp incessantly at the (real or imagined) failures, and then suddenly in the next paragraph serve up a large helping of blame to the shorts and say you're planning to take advantage of the low price & good fundamentals. Help me - I'm confused - which would you prefer right now - a higher price and good fundamentals, or the current price while there's still time to buy? Further, I'm not sure what purpose is served by continuing to bitch & moan about recent shortcomings that are being/will be attended to by [the fruits of] yesterday's announcement. Maybe singing the same dirge is going to make things better over there? And btw, yeah, I'm impatient, too. I try to channel some of that impatience into constructive suggestions, which I then forward to Dick and/or Dennis. Guess what, they really appreciate and listen to them when the tone is right. I'm sorry to report that the slamming just makes them feel lousy and defensive - and counterproductive IMO. I'm not against criticism, as long is it's constructive.......and btw, you can call it poly-analysis. ;^)
