I hope the announcements give the stock a boost, but keep in mind that there were announcements about the future of DEC, etc. etc. a couple months back that did absolutely nothing. It really boils down to when (if) the funds start buying again. They need to smell profits and strong DEC integration. Until then, Dell will get the fund dollars in the PC group, along with IBM and even HWP. I think last year institutional ownership was in the 80% range, I believe it is now in the 47% range. John Even Dell has not rocketed off the charts over the past few months. It was in the high 50's back in July, and is also acting weak lately.
