Interesting points, I would like to say that Friday starts a new cycle in my pattern technique which is usually a choppy day to trade. If it is the "normal" cycle day it will have 3, perhaps 4, major turning points. The first turn should be at 10:15 EST. I know what you mean about Money Management on the system trades; Allan Harris has that same type of thing with his system. Wild stuff, buy the Open, sell the Close. It would have worked out well today with a roughly 22 point gain, but it's tough to watch. My mild experience on Wednesday ... digging into pattern analysis while the market was dropping like a stone....knowing the guy who taught me this stuff was short....made me less than confident that I was doing the right thing. It worked out okay though.....and except for an occasional twitch in my facial expression one would never know.
