"Even if we are disappointed on the 11th, I feel that as long as GMGC signs with a few Carriers by year end the company will be in fine shape by next summer. I still believe we will see a defining moment for GMGC next week."

But there is some evidence to support the November announcement of at least one carrier:

Tks for your reply and crystal ball gaze. My money too is where my mouth is but a cheerleader I'm not. My take on recent buzz that the lack of resellers in the Southwest has something to do with Bell South is that it's dangerously erroneous speculation. Using your guideline of simple logic, the most likely explanation is plain lack of resellers willing to carry Portico on the GMGC terms. If GMGC was concerned about upsetting telcos with resellers in telcos' backyards they would be geographically stymied from effectively marketing Portico almost anywhere. Why would Bell South get special treatment and be able to get GMGC to limit competition in its area?

As to other buzz about next week's Msoft/QCom announcement, GMGC IR confirms that GMGC is not involved-no hedging statements, a flat not involved confirmation.

I tend to side with JC's assessment that telco time passes more slowly than anxious investor time. Also, your 60,000 subscriber number seems to me a big one, and I'd be curious as to the basis of your optimistic feelings. From my anecdotal telephone surveys of resellers there just aren't too many actively selling any product and of the few that are active that's a lot to ask of them.
