What is the cup and handle formation? Do you have a visual you could post. And on this subject of formations, someone said back in the end of June, a bear he was, that he saw 3 black crows, 3 birds on a wire, and that this indicated a bear market coming. Check the charts of the DJIA and I'll be dammned if these little spiklets weren't followed by the market dip, there were also crows just after the October 8 low signalling the bottom. and some more last week signalling another leg up. The crows indicate a basebuildng or volatility before a sell-out, it seems. I don't belive this, agreeing with Chuzzlewit that this is like seeing objects in cloud formations, but the crows do speak for themselves. Anyone have any comments? jhg
