s.r.,

Here is a very recent update from Todd, in case you missed it.

Message 6263697

That is a summary of his thoughts on THQI as of last week, which I enclosed in quotes to emphasize these were his words verbatim. I hope this helps, but uncertainty is completely understandable.

Points -

1. Evening Star is not "one little indicator" as implied. It is a very rare occurring event which is very good at picking out not reversals or corrections, but price TOPS. Both times in the past when it has occurred, we were left shaking our heads wondering what happened. I just don't want to be put in that position again, I know how it feels, and I really want to capitalize on any pullback rather than being capitalized on. This comes from someone who has proven he is no less a THQI bull than anyone else on this thread.

2. I sold my whole position because I want to protect my cash, and use it in the future to re-enter what is still probably my favorite investment. I am taking a RISK, I know that and have no intention of suggesting anyone else should do the same. I wanted to convey though that I am very certain of my actions, to the extent I put my money where my mouth is.

3. I don't think Todd would agree with my action (in fact, I would be willing to bet on it), but in this case a difference of opinions simply reflects two different strategies used to achieve the same goal of maximizing a long-term investment in THQI.

I am using this to PROTECT my cash, so I can RE-INVEST it ALL back into THQI at a later date. The date is going to be determined by further T/A analysis on my part. If that sounds like reading tea leaves to anyone, it simply reflects the fact it is not for you. It is for me though, and when we are a month removed from this decision, I will have learned another lesson in investing, whether good, bad, or indifferent.

In the mean time, I consider this my home thread, so I will celebrate for all who hold if the price shoots up. In the event I am correct, I will have mixed feelings, knowing that what worked for me was not a positive experience for others here. You all know how much I like this company, how we all share the same long-term vision of success for THQI, and how in the end we all make different choices. I only have one thing left to say ...... RUGRATS!!!

Rugrat Regards, JB

P.S. Oops, I do have one more thing to say ... WCW/NWO Revenge :o)

I was initially drawn to THQ over a year ago by sound fundamentals and great prospects. Seems to me that THQ still has them.

In the meantime, this board seems to have largely become a place to announce trading strategy. While I understand that this is some people's investment strategy, I long for a little balance on the board with business fundamentals, and not solely market watching.

Channel checks, status of titles, new titles, employee and management comments, new technology, competitors, customer info - these are some of the things that used to be very prevalent on this board and are now essentially gone.

OK, I'll get off the soapbox now,

Kory
