Hi lee, I was wondering just how you know when to get into gern before its big spike upward. What do you watch, the volume, or the price, or what? Once the news comes out, it is too late as the price then has a huge gap upward so the secret is getting in right before the news. I like your strategy and I think that's the way to play these micro-cap hi-flyers.

Lee,

I follow this stock as well, as I do other development stage biotechs.

This company deals with Cancer and Aging issues, which means that from time to time they make some sort of announcement which sounds to a lot of people like "cure for cancer is just around the corner." I agree that the announcement is always craftily worded to make it sound better, more immediate, and more important than it really is.

While their latest development is significant, it's still years away from being usable as a cure for anything. The stock will likely fall back to close to its previous levels. Even allowing for the current bull run in biotechs gives a nice opportunity to the downside.

Mike Murphy is one of the few analysts I know who covers the stock. He issued a sell recommendation this morning, indicating that this was a profit taking opportunity and that he would look to buy the stock back at lower levels.
