Right, ed. The whole browser war was such an insignificant deal to Microsoft and Bill. December 7, 1995, a day that will live in infamy, that was all a PR event, of little real import. And that whole BW history, where Bill called Slivka a communist, when he suggested giving away the browser? Another clever misdirection play. Bill knew where the company was going, since that April 8, 1994 retreat. He had it all planned out.

Maybe Bill, or Microsoft's lawyers, or you, or somebody could come up with a coherent account of that infamous meeting with Netscape, eh? Or maybe not. Is the current line still that they set up Microsoft?
