Paul and John
You both seem like very bright guys and obviously are much bigger players than alot of SI posters BUT don't you think you have gotten a little carried away with the who is making more money thing? This thread is for Intel investors. Pass on some of your insights on Intel or related stocks. Use personal e-mail for the verbal sparring. I've learned alot on the thread and even made a little money.
GO Intel! GO Dell!

Thanks,
I had shorted DELL at $63 3/16 and was lucky to cover Friday at 58 3/8. I did re-short it, though, at 60 13/16 and am down on that leg.

I'm using this as a hedge in case the market tanks.
I've always wondered if the black late trades were orders submitted after hours or just orders not reported in sequence during the day. If they are true after hours, then the indication would be DELL at around 61/shr with a fluke (or manipulated) trade at 62 3/4 at the very end.

JO - Perhaps you can update us all as to your AMAZON Short at $122 and $140 .

With AMAZON "temporarily" above the $200 mark, you might want to "share" with us your feelings on what it is like to lose >$68 PER SHARE on a stock?

Paul

Paul...I tell you what....

As I said I have 500 AMZN short at $122 &change and 20 $60 June puts on McDonalds. Today I shorted 500 INTC at $94 intraday. I will post to you when I close all or part of these positions but not until then. Again these positions are a HEDGE against a severe market correction.........In the case of AMZN, I think it's overpriced with competition. With INTC, who knows?

I was shorting in the $140 area, but couldn't get more shares available to short after that (this was probably good for me)......Anyone know if lack of availablility of shares to short is indicator of anything.....like maybe a orchestrated short squeeze?
