What worries me about the deal with Microsoft is that historically any deal with Microsoft usually means a bad deal. How exactly will Cisco benefit from this joint development of ADS? It's obvious what MSFT has to gain, but it seems that Cisco is providing the knowledge for little gain. Please, someone enlighten me. Tell me I'm wrong. What is Cisco gaining?

By the way, for any of you who are Novell fans, I just read that Novell's R&D budget for an entire year is MSFT's R&D budget for two weeks. Novell is going down. The deal with LU is just a stay of execution.
