>>Alpha Five Version 4.

Over 1,000,000 Alpha Database Products sold worldwide

My clients all find Alpha Five easier to use than Access-- Frances Peake, Software Training and Consulting

...the mere perception of an Alpha threat to Access let alone the reality of the above [facts]...could literally...establish a market cap for Alpha in the stratosphere...which is why Borland stock went through the roof pursuant to its database DBase (acquired from Ashton-Tate in the $hundreds? of millions?...and Microsoft's aggressive acquisition of DBase II clone FoxPro which evolved into Access?...Alpha is on to something here...Selwyn and Richard, do the right thing...Alpha needs to pursue an aggressive campaign to simply and firmly and pervasively [viz a viz reviews, press, press releases stating such, financial analysts/publications suggesting said perception as reality...] create said perceived threat to Access...and everything else will fall in to place...and the rest will simply be history...do the right thing Selwyn and Richard...

>>Alpha Five Version 3 is in the retail channel at $49.99...

...but left out a key feature on packaging!?!?!?

Networking

Alpha Five Version 3 is fully network ready. Multiple users can share the same database. The only requirement is that each user has their own license. Alpha Five supports Novell Netware, Windows NT, Windows 95 and all Netbios compatible networks.

...this is from their website alphasoftware.com and also appeared on the 1996 version of Alpha Five....no mention of Networking on latest packaging....not good...heads should roll...
